Terms & Conditions
The Essence of Health, Med Laser and Infusion Clinic Inc

1. Medical Disclaimer
All services provided by The Essence of Health, Med Laser and Infusion Clinic Inc are intended to support general wellness and are not substitutes for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult your physician before beginning any new treatment. Our treatments are administered by licensed healthcare professionals within their regulated scope of practice.

IV infusions and injectable treatments are administered under a medical directive provided by our licensed Medical Director. All other treatments are delivered by qualified and trained healthcare providers within their respective scopes of practice.

Results are not guaranteed. They vary from client to client and are intended to support wellness, not to replace any medical treatment prescribed by your healthcare provider.

2. Eligibility for Services
Be at least 18 years old (or have legal guardian consent if under 18)
Not all treatments are available for minors, even with consent
IV infusions can only be administered to clients 18 years or older
Accurately complete all intake and consent forms
Disclose relevant medical history, medications, allergies, and conditions
Be deemed clinically suitable for treatment based on professional assessment
We reserve the right to decline or postpone treatment for safety reasons.

3. Consultation & No-Show Policy
Initial consultations are complimentary (free of charge)
A valid credit card is required to be placed on file at the time of booking
If a client does not attend their scheduled consultation or appointment and fails to provide at least 24 hours’ notice, a $50 no-show fee will be charged to the card on file (excluding IV infusions)
Clients may reschedule with no penalty if done 24+ hours in advance
Repeated no-shows may result in service restrictions or refusal

4. Appointments & Cancellations
All services are provided by appointment only via phone or text booking
Changes or cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance
Appointments missed with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a $50 fee (excluding IV infusions)
IV infusions must be paid in full at the time of ordering to confirm your appointment
All IV infusions are final sale and non-refundable, including in the case of no-show
If an IV infusion cannot be started for clinical reasons, 50% of the IV infusion cost will be refunded

5. Payment & Refund Policy
Payments are due at the time of booking or treatment
Accepted payment methods: debit, credit, e-transfer, or prepaid packages
IV infusions are non-refundable once prepared, unless medically contraindicated (50% refund applies)
Promotional services, bundles, and prepaid sessions are non-refundable and non-transferable
Refunds must be requested in writing and are subject to administrative review

6. Client Responsibility
Arriving on time and prepared for appointments
Providing honest, up-to-date medical information
Following all pre- and post-treatment instructions
Notifying staff of any changes in health status or new symptoms
Respecting clinic policies and cancellation timelines
Asking questions or voicing concerns prior to treatment
You may withdraw from treatment at any time (cancellation fees may apply)

7. Privacy & Confidentiality
Your privacy is important to us.
The Essence of Health, Med Laser and Infusion Clinic Inc:
- Collects and stores your health information securely in compliance with Canadian privacy laws and HIPAA standards
- Will not share your personal or health information without your written consent, unless required by law
- Shares information only with our Medical Director when required (e.g., for IV infusions or injectables)
- Maintains strict safeguards to protect your data
- Honors your right to access or correct your records at any time

8. Limitation of Liability
The Essence of Health, Med Laser and Infusion Clinic Inc and its staff are not liable for:
- Unexpected results or individual treatment variability
- Adverse effects resulting from undisclosed health history or client non-compliance
- Unforeseen side effects or reactions. While we follow strict protocols, adverse effects may rarely occur.
- Damages or losses arising from the use or misuse of our services

Use of our services is voluntary and at your own risk.

9. Changes to Terms
These Terms & Conditions may be updated at any time without prior notice. The latest version will be posted in clinic or on our website. Continued use of services constitutes agreement to any changes.

10. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of Ontario courts.
